Lahiruni + Phillip

Lahiruni and Phillips's wedding day at Abbortsford Convent was a beautiful day with a melding of cultures and religions. Lahiruni migrated from Sri Lanka to Australia with her family when she was two years old, her family is Buddhist and have continued with this faith and its traditions whilst living in Australia. Phillip was born in Victoria to an Italian mother and an English father and speaks fluent Italian. The wedding ceremony was a balance of Sri Lankan buddhist tradition interpreted in the modern Australian setting.
